Often times when I find myself stressed, worried, or anxious about something, someone throws me the phrase, "Have faith". Most of the time I know they mean "Have hope". What is the underlying difference and what does it mean to your faith if the thing you wanted didn't come?

The two are not interchangeable but one cannot exist without the other, because if your hope is Jesus (knowing that He will provide a way) then your faith is that He will see you throught any difficulties especially if that "thing" didnt come.... however if you had no hope then you have faith in nothing.... And if you have faith in nothing then what hope do you hold?

When people say have faith to me, it means keeping trusting and relying in God, that no matter the outcome i must learn from it, whether the thing comes or doesn't or if i must wait for a reply...

God has a plan for your life but according to his plan not yours!! And His plan is better than what we will ever think up for ours anyways!!

Peace
